The temperature is recorded for each cycle
of the chemiclave sterilizing unit and color
heat sensitive bags are used to indicate
the effectiveness of every cycle. |

All lab burrs are heat sterilized and individually
bagged until use (upper left). Surfaces such
as the x-ray head, light handles, and intercom
buttons are covered during use. The coverings
are changed between patients and all surfaces
are additionally disinfected. |
